2 1/2 C all purpose flour
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 C peanut butter
1 C butter
1 C sugar
1 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and set aside
2. Combine peanut butter with butter and beat until smooth. Beat in sugars, then eggs and vanilla until blended. Beat in flour mixture until just blended. (if necessary, refrigerate dough until easy to handle.)
3. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Arrange cookies on ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each cookie and press crisscross patter into tops with fork dipped in sugar.
4. Bake for 12 mins or until light golden. Cool completely on wire rack.
