1 c. molasses
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
3/4 c. boiling water
1 T. soda
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. cloves
1 T. ginger
1 t. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs, etc. Cool in refrigerator for several hours.
Roll out on floured board, not to thin. Cut with cutters.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.

May frost with powdered sugar frosting if you desire.

This is a easy recipe and came from Ryan's preschool. We use this recipe to make gingerbread men at Christmas.
