1/2 pound bacon, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 Tablespoons flour
4 cups milk
1 can cream style corn
3 to 4 cooked potatoes, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
snipped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
In a large kettle, fry bacon until crisp. Remove and drain all but 3 Tablespoons drippings. Add onion and celery to fat in pan and cook and stir until onion and celery are tender. Remove from heat and blend in flour. Cook over low heat ,stirring until mixture is bubbly.Remove from heat and stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute then stir in the corn potatoes, salt and pepper and heat through. Stir in bacon. Sprinkle each serving with parsley if you want.
