1 package pie crust mix
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
3 lbs. cooking apples,peeled and sliced
1 tbsp. flour
Freshly grated nutmeg

Crumble Topping- Measure 1 cup pie crust mix and combine with sugars and cinnamon. Cut in butter thoroughly and set aside.

Mix 1 cup Cheddar cheese into remaining pie crust mix. Blend with about 2 1/2 tbsp. water. Roll out dough and line 9 inch pie plate. Place apples in pastry lined plate, sprinkling with flour evenly through them. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cover with half of the crumb mixture. Sprinkle remaining cup of cheese over all. Top with remaining crumble mixture. Bake about 40 minutes in 375º oven.
