1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream shortening, butter & sugar. Add egg & flavorings, then flour & salt. Chill. Roll into small balls & flatten with bottom of a sugared glass. Sprinkle with additional sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes in 350º oven. Makes about 50 cookies.
