2 stickes soften butter
1 C packed br sugar
1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 heaping t cinnamon
3 C quick oats
1 C raisins (optional)
2 C peanut butter or chocolate or butterscotch chips (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350º.
2. Beat butter and sugars till creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
4. Add flour, soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
5. Stir in oats and optional ingredients.
6. Drop by ice cream scoop, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 10 mins or til golden.
8. Cool on pan 1 min and remove to wire rack.
