3 C bread flour
1 C old fashioned oats
2 T butter
1 12 t salt
3 T brown sugar or honey
2 t instant yeast or 1 packet active dry yeast
1 1/4 C lukewark milk
3/4 C raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, or in the bowl of an electric mixer, combing all of the ingredients mixing to form a shaggy dough. Mix for 5 mins to knead.
2. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and allow to rest for 1 hour; it will become quite puffy, though it may not double in size.
3. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface and roll into log. Place into a lightly greased 9x5 bread pan. Cover the pan with lightly greased plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise for 60-90 mins or until it's crested 1" over the rim of the pan.
4. Bake at 350º for 35-40 mins. If bread is browning too quickly, tent with foil for last 10 mins of baking.
