1 C soft shortening
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix 1st 3 ingreds, thoroughly.
2. Sift together and mix in next 4 ingreds.
3. Chill dough for at least 2 hours.
4. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in mix of 2 T sugar and 2 t cinnamon.
5. Place about 2 in apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 350º about 8-10 mins or til lightly browned but still soft.
