3 1/2 c. flour
1 t.cinnamon
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/4 t, salt
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 large apple
4 eggs
1c. oatmeal
1 t. baking powder
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugars and cream well.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Grind raisins, nuts and unpeeled apple together. Add fruit mixture to shortening mixture.
Add oatmeal, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla.
Add flour sifted together with soda and baking powder.

Drop by spoon on baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
