1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 cup applesauce
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour alternately with applesauce. Line pan with wax paper. Bake one hour.

Icing
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups icing sugar (approx.)
1/4 tsp. salt
few drops of maple syrup
