18 chicken wings, cut into two pieces
1 cup flour
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup pepper sauce
4 T. honey
1 t. dried red pepper flakes

Directions:
Preheat deep fryer to 350°. Put flour in large plastic re-sealable bag, toss chicken until well coated. Deep fry 6 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Single layer on a sprayed baking sheet. In small bowl melt butter in microwave, add pepper sauce, flakes and honey. Stir until well mixed. Baste chicken wings until coated on both sides. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, uncovered, turning wings once. Serve with blue cheese dip.(see dips)
Makes 36 appetizers.
 

BLUE CHEESE DIP


Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
2 T. onion, diced finely
1 clove garlic, minced
1½ T. dried parsley flakes
1 T. lemon juice
1 T. white vinegar
¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste

In a 1 quart bowl, mix together all ingredients, except celery sticks. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Makes about 1½ cups.
