Cook Time: 20 minutes @ 350º F.
Yield: 6 Dozen

5 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar

2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons milk

Directions:
Directions:
DOUGH
Cream the sugar, butter and the eggs in a food processor or with an electric mixer with the dough blade. Add the sour cream and milk and mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Fold in the dates and nuts. The batter should be thick but not stiff. Add a little milk if it is too stiff. Refrigerate the cookie dough for about 1 hour.

ASSEMBLY
Grease and flour 2 cookie sheets. When rolling out the dough, dust your hands with a little flour as the dough is sticky. Make 3 long narrow loaves and place them on the cookie sheets. This recipe makes approximately 6 loaves.

BAKE
Bake for about 20 minutes at 350º F. or until the bottom is brown.

Frosting
Confectionery Sugar, flavored with a little vanilla flavoring, & milk. Frosting should be loose in order to drizzle over biscotti.

Cut the loaves on the diagonal.
