Ingredients:
Ingredients:
16 oz. uncooked elbow macaroni
1 stick (8 tbsp.) butter, cut into slices
1 can (15.5 oz.) evaporated milk
6 eggs
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Add salt to boiling water. Cook macaroni according to al dente package directions. Drain half the liquid when finished. While noodles are cooking, beat eggs and evaporated milk together very well in a bowl. Set aside and allow them to come to room temperature (this will keep the eggs from cooking prematurely when added later). Stir in slices of butter (butter must be completely melted before next step). Stir in evaporated milk and egg mixture. Stir in sharp cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Cover with a lid and let sit 5 to 10 minutes before serving to allow extra liquid to be soaked up. Makes about 8 - 1/2 cup servings.
