2 chicken breasts
salt and pepper
1/2 cup toasted almonds lettuce

SAUCE
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup cold water

BATTER
1 cup flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.(you may marinate the breasts in soya sauce if you like ) Dip whole chicken breast in batter and deep fry until golden brown. Slice chicken crosswise in 1/2 inch pieces. Place on a bed of shredded lettuce. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with toasted almonds that have been chopped fine. Serve immediately.
NOTE: If the chicken breasts are quite thick, slice them in half lengthwise before dipping in batter.
