Salad:
1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces
3 c fresh bean sprouts
1 5 oz can water chestnuts, sliced
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
2 c fresh shrimp

Dressing:
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/3 c white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 tsp ground ginger

Directions:

Salad:
Combine all ingredients and toss.

Dressing:
In screw top jar combine oil, vinegar, sugar, soya sauce and ginger. Shake vigorously and chill. Just before serving, pour dressing over salad and toss.
