3/4 cup butter
1 egg yolk (reserve white)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp cold wear
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except almonds. Spread by hand on lightly greased cookie sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Bake and 350º F for 5 - 10 minutes or until edges are just very lightly golden.
