1 frying chicken, 3lb. or more, cut up
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
6 artichokes hearts,cooked
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp. sherry wine
1/4 tsp. dry or fresh rosemary

Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika over chicken. Brown chicken in butter and then arrange in casserole dish. Arrange artichokes hearts around chicken. To the drippings in frying pan, add sliced mushrooms and saute a few minutes. Sprinkle flour on mushrooms and stir 1 minute. Add broth, sherry and rosemary. Stir all together and pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 375º for 40 minutes or until tender. Gravy is delicious over rice.
