2 cups (c.) of fresh strawberries
3 1/8 cups (c.) of all-purpose flour
2 cups (c.) of white sugar
1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon (tsp.) of salt
1 teaspoon (tsp.) of baking soda
1 1/4 cups (c.) of vegetable oil
4 beaten eggs
1 2/4 cups (c.) of chopped pecans

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees % and butter and flour the two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
2)Slice the strawberries and place them in a medium-sized bow. Sprinkle lightly with sugar, and set aside while preparing batter.
3) Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl; mix well.
4) blend oil and eggs into strawberries and add the strawberry mixture to the flour mixture. Blend until ingredients are just moistened. Stir in pecans and dived the batter into the pans.
4) Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5) Turn loves out of the pans and allow them to cool before slicing.
