1 cup hot water
2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all bran
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
Mix and let stand

2 pkg. yeast
1 cup lukewarm water
2 eggs, beaten
7-8 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve 2 pkg. yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water. Add bran mixture, 2 eggs, and flour. Knead until smooth. Store in refrigerator over night. Roll part of dough in circle. Cut in pie wedges. Roll into crescent shapes. Let rise again until light.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 400º for 10-15 minutes.

You can eliminate storing in the refrigerator overnight if you prefer to bake them at the time they are prepared. This is a favorite for a ladies luncheon.
