1 ˝ cups sugar
3 each eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ˝ cups milk
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all other ingredients well, then add coconut. Pour into deep unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.

A reliable old time recipe for coconut pie. Charlotte's Dad got it from a lady at Charlotte's Mom's funeral. Make sure it has cooked enough to thicken.
