1 ice cream pail of crabapples, (not too ripe)
8 tsp. cream tartar
20 cups of boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle cream of tartar over crabapples and pour boiling water over.
Leave 24 hours. Stir a couple of times. Drain all juice into a large pot. Bring to a boil and add 1 1/4 cup white sugar to every 8 cups of juice.
Bring back to boil for 3 minutes or so. Bottle hot, using sealers.
No need to put through a jelly bag, a colander will be fine.
