2 Cups (Scant) Sugar
1 Cup Whipping Cream
3 Cups of Cake Flour +2 Tablespoons
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 and 1/4 cups Milk
5 Egg Whites

Directions:
Directions:
Whip cream with 1 cup sugar add sifted flour and baking powder. Alternate flour and milk ( ie. cup of flour to 1/4 cup milk). Beat 5 egg whites with 1 cup sugar. Fold into the first mixture. Makes 3 9 inch layers. Bake at 350º checking cake for doneness ( clean toothpick). Cool and wrap in plastic wrap. Freeze prior to frosting with standard 7 minutes frosting recipe.

You can use a lemon curd filling in between layers and/or us coconut to dress frosting.
