2 oz Old Overholt Rye Whiskey
1/2-1 t. Raw (Turbinado) Sugar
2 Luxardo Maraschino Cherries (One for garnish)
2 1/2" X 1" piece of Orange Rind (One for garnish)
4 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
Splash of Soda
Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar and bitters in low ball glass, and muddle until sugar is almost completely dissolved. Then add one Luxardo cherry and 1/2' X 1" piece of orange rind and muddle slightly, bruising rind and breaking cherry into several large bits. Add whiskey, stir until all sugar is dissolved. Add a splash of soda and one large ice cube. Rim glass with orange rind. Garnish with a skewered orange rind wrapped around the cherry.
