1 stick margarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. chopped dates
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1-1/2 c. shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet at low heat barely melt butter. Stir in sugar, dates, and eggs. Continue stirring. Cook slowly until thick - 10 minutes or more. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans, Rice Krispies and vanilla flavoring. Cool. Spread coconut on wax paper. Roll cool mixture by spoonfuls, shaping into balls, in coconut.
