Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Dozen Large Eggs (Allow to sit out overnight so they are at room temp.)
1 3lb Box of Baking Sugar (Superfine)
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla (I like Bourbon Flavored Vanilla)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate egg whites from yolks and retain both. Using a heavy duty mixer beat whites until frothy and then slowly begin adding sugar (about 3 tablespoons at a time) allowing sugar to blend until dissolved before adding next amounts of sugar. The whites are done when you have incorporated about 2/3rds of the sugar and they have very stiff glossy peaks (you should be able to turn the bowl upside down and the whites do not fall from the bowl). If the batter is gritty, you have added the sugar to quickly. Do the same for the yolks..adding sugar much slower. The yolks won't take as much sugar before becoming gritty. Fold yolks into whites and add vanilla. Chill batter. When you are ready to serve, fill mug about half full with batter, adding half shot glasses each of bourbon, dark rum, and brandy, topping of with boiling hot water and fresh ground nutmeg. The batter is perfect when there is no sugar grit in the batter.

Personal Notes:
We serve these every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. I often mix equal parts alcohol into a decanter for use during the holidays and have known to add a little more of the spirits in each mug.
