1 3/4 cup quick oats
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup mashed bananas
1 egg
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º F. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Combine butter and sugar, beat until fluffy. Add egg and beat well, add bananas, oats, and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Blend in flour mixture. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan immediately to prevent sticking. Makes about 5 dozen.
