8 tasses tomates vertes
8 tasses oignons
2 tasses vinaigre
2 ½ tasse sucre
2 c. à soupe d'épices à marinade
1/4 tasse de gros sel

Directions:
Directions:
Trancher les tomates et les oignons, étendre le gros sel et égoutter toute la nuit.
Cuire dans la préparation de vinaigre et de sucre, avec les épices dans un petit sac en coton ou dans une boule pour le thé. Mijoter jusqu'à ce que les oignons soient transparents.
Mettre bouillant dans des pots Mason stérilisés. Fermer les pots et laisser refroidir.

Moi je les fais égoutter dans une vieille taie d'oreiller
