½ c. margarine
¾ c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
2 cups sifted flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
½ tsp. each of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
1 c raisins
1 c. nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, egg, and sugar - beat well. Blend in applesauce. Sift flour with dry ingredients. Sift again. Add flour gradually to creamed mixture. Mix only until smooth. Add nuts and raisins.

Drop by spoonful on lightly oiled cookie sheet. Bake @ 375º about 12 minutes.
