3 qt. corn cut from cob
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. salt
1 pt. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all and let stand for 3 hrs. Then place over fire & cook 20 minutes, then seal. When serving, pour off brine, cover with clear cold water and heat slowly. Pour off this water. Heat in milk with lump of butter.
