2 lbs Ground Beef
¾ Cup Rolled Oats
½ Cup Onion finely chopped
2 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Pepper
⅛ tsp Savory
1 Egg beaten
¼ Cup Milk
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beef, rolled oats, onion and seasonings. Combine egg and milk and worcestershire sauce. Add to meat mixture and blend well. turn into a 9 x 5 in loaf pan and bake at 350º for 1 hour.
Serve with mushroom or BBQ sauce.


BBQ Sauce:

½ Cup Onion chopped
1 Clove Garlic crushed
1 Tbsp Fat
1 Cup Ketchup
½ Cup Water
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Prepared Mustard
Dash Tobasco

Saute onion and garlic until transparent. Combine remaining ingredients and simmer 5 to 10 min. Makes 2 cups.
