Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 onion
olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (more or less depending how spicy you want it)
1 16 oz bag of C&W petite peas
1 box penne pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Add salt and olive oil to a pot of water and bring to a boil.

In a 10-12 inch saucepan that has a lid, saute 1/2 onion in olive oil (enough olive oil to barely cover the bottom of the pan, maybe 3 + Tablespoons)

Add 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more or less depending on how spicy you like)

Saute long enough to cook onions but don't burn them.

Then add bag of peas to onion mixture.

Once your water is boiling add box of pasta. Boil for 7 minutes for Al Dente pasta.

Once the pea/onion mixture is sizzling, cover pan and reduce heat to low.

When the pasta is done cooking, drain and then add the pea onion mixture to the pasta.

Serve with parmesan or asiago cheese.

I just ballpark everything so if you need to adjust amounts of anything feel free to.
