2/3 cup sugar
5 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
3 egg yolks, well beaten
1-1/2 cup milk, scalded
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 egg whites, beaten stiff

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, & salt together with cold milk. Then add beaten egg yolks, blending together. Gradually add scalded milk to egg mixture. Cook on low heat, stirring while cooking until mixture is thick. Add vanilla: cool. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and spoon into center of cream puffs.
