1 pkg. of Italian sausage (hot and spicy)
1 lb. ground beef, cooked
1 cup chopped onion or less, sautéed
3 gloves garlic minced
3 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning, divided
1 tsp. salt
3- 14 oz jars of Marinara sauce
4 cups shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
1-16 oz pkg. small curd cottage cheese
1 -15oz container of ricotta cheese
2 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-16 oz pkg of lasagna noodles, cooked

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Cook sausage, beef, onion, garlic, 2 tsp. Italian seasoning. Add salt; cook, stirring until meat is crumbly. Add marinara sauce. Cook and stir for 5 min.
3. In food processor, combine 2 cups shredded cheese blend, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, eggs, garlic powder and remaining 1 1/2 tsp. of Italian seasoning. Process until smooth.
4. Lightly grease 4 1/2 quart dish. Spread 4 cups sauce mixture in bottom of dish. Top with 6 noodles.
5. Spread 2 cups mixture over noodles. Top with 2 cups sauce mixture. Place 6 noodles on top of sauce mix. Spread 2 cups cheese mixture; top with 2 cups sauce mix. Top with 6 noodles, remaining cheese mix, and remaining sauce. Sprinkle with 2 cups of shredded cheese. Cover with foil. Bake 45 min. Uncover and bake 15 min. longer.

Hint: It takes 2 hours or longer when frozen. You may want less meat, so just estimate meat amount . between layers. I used all beef. This too much pasta and Italian seasoning. I used all cottage cheese and it was ok.
