1/2 cup baking powder
1 dash salt
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mini marshmallows

SAUCE

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cup icing sugar

CAKE PREPARATION

Cream butter, add brown sugar and egg. Sift dry ingredients and add to the butter alternately with milk. Add nuts and vanilla.
Pour in an 8 x8 pan and cook at 325°F. For 20 minutes.
Take out of the oven and cover with marshmallows.

SAUCE PREPARATION

Melt butter, add brown sugar, stir and bring to boiling point let boil about 2 minutes, add milk bring back to boil. and let cool a little and add the icing sugar.
Pour on cake.
