4 Chickens breasts
2 tbsp butter
2 chopped onions
1 chopped garlic clove
1/2 chopped green pepper
1- 14 oz. can of halves preserved peaches keep 1/2 cup of the syrup
1-10 oz. can cream of mushrooms
2 tsp basil
Almond pieces

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet, melt butter; cook the chicken breasts 2 or 3 minutes on each side. In mid-cooking, add onions, garlic and green pepper. Remove the chicken and degrease the pan.
Put the chicken in the pan and add the peaches,syrup, cream of mushroom soup and basil, mix well and cover. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Add peaches and heat a few minutes. If desired garnish with almond pieces.

Cream of mushroom soup can be substitute by cream of chicken soup.

Serve on a bed of rice or mashed potatoes.
