1/4 cup of cut up bacon
1 small onion
2 cans (8 oz.) minced or whole clams
2 cups diced potatoes
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup chopped celery
2 can (8 oz.) tomato soup
1 cup of clam juice
2 tsp snipped parsley
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir bacon and onion in large kettle until bacon as crisp and onion is tender.Drain clams, reserving liquid. Add clam juice, potatoes, water and celery to onion and bacon. Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add clams, tomatoes with liqiuid and remaining ingrdients. Heat to boiling stiring occassionally.
