Ham bone
chopped onion, 1/2 medium
1 bag of split peas(green)
2 cups of uncooked diced potatoes
1 sliced carrot

Directions:
Directions:
Using a 2 quart pot, add enough water for boiling (1/2 full or so) and a ham bone, add onion. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook till meat falling off the bone (about 1 hour), remove bone, leave meat in pot.
Add peas. Cook until thickens (about 2 hours or more) stir occasionally
Add potatoes and carrot. Cook on low heat until vegetables are done.
