1 lb. butter, softened
4 C. flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
1/4 lb. ground nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Cream butter and sugar, add beaten egg, then milk, flour, nuts and vanilla. Shape in a log or oval, wrap in plastic and chill overnight. Slice thin. Bake for 10 minutes. Watch - burns easily!
