3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 cup light cream
5 egg yolks
3 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. brandy flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
In top of double boiler, combine first 4 ingredients, blend in milk and half of cream. Cook over hot water until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in egg yolks that have been mixed with rest of cream; add butter. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cook, stir in brandy flavor. Pour into Torte shell.
