Ingredients:
4 cups flour
4 Tbs. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup milk and 1 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 cup raisins (I like golden)

Directions:
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 2 pie tins. In a large bowl, whisk first 5 ingredients. Cut in butter till granular. In large measuring cup, measure milk, sour cream and egg. Whisk well. RESERVE 2 Tbs. for later use. Add rest to dry ingredients along with the raisins. Mix with a fork until the dough comes together. Empty out onto a lightly floured counter. Cut in half and form each half into a flat 7" disk. Cut into six or eight wedges and place in pie pans (you may have to squeeze). Using the reserved egg, milk and cream mixture, brush over the tops and sprinkle heavily with sugar. Bake 15 to 17 minutes. ENJOY!
