"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Bernice was the kids' piano (and organ) teacher and a friend. She and husband invited our family to their home the first Thanksgiving we spent after moving to Sheldon ('59) The kids all loved her.

Bernice wrote note: "I never use Hershey bars. Sometimes I place chips on baked pan of bars, let melt and then spread. Can be changed by using nuts and raisins in place of cocconut."
