4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup milk
juice and rind of 2 oranges
Directions:
Directions:
Cream well sugar and shortening add eggs and juice and rind. Combine flour and other dry ingredients. Alternate with 1 cup milk.
Drop rounded tsp. 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350º 8 to 10 minutes
Glaze with orange juice and little rind and powder sugar
