1 (14.5 oz) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 carrot, sliced
1 onion, chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup red pepper, chopped
1/3 cup bottled steak sauce
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb italian sausage
8 slices bacon (opt: jalapeno flavored)
1 (1.25 oz) package chili seasoning mix
1 tsp cumin
1 can kidney beans, drained
1/2 Tbsp Creole Seasoning
1/2 Tbsp Cholula Hot Sauce

In a large pot combine tomatoes, tomato paste, carrot, onion, celery, wine, pepper flakes, peppers and steak sauce. While tomato mixture is simmering, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towels. Cook beef and sausage in bacon drippings; drain. Stir chili seasoning into meat. Stir seasoned meat, cumin and bacon into tomato mixture. Continue to simmer until veggies are tender and flavors are well blended. Stir in beans. Heat through to serve.

This is "manly" chili, hence the name. It's hearty and delicious but definitely has a kick to it.
