1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 cups chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups whole tomatoes
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
3 cups water
1 bay leaf
cayenne to taste
3 lbs. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

Directions:
Directions:
Saute vegetables in oil until tender. Add tomatoes and brown; add water paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste. Add bay leaf and simmer. About 15 minutes before serving, add shrimp and cook unit they are pink. Serve over hot white rice.
