1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. fine egg noodles
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 1/2 c. boiling water
3/4 c. long grain converted rice
1 tbsp. chopped parsley (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add fine egg noodles and brown slightly. Add boiling water and bouillon, stir to dissolve cubes. Add rice and parsley. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. Turn off heat and let stand, covered, 5 min.

You can use brown rice in the recipe but you need to increase the cooking time. It's important to not lift the cover during cooking until
