2 c. sugar
2 c. shortening
1 16 oz. can pumpkin
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
Frosting
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 tsp. cream or milk
1/2 c. butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, shortening, pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices. Add to cream mixture and mix well. Drop dough by rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheet, about 2" apart.

Cool.

Mix all ingredients for the frosting and frost cookies.
