1 C. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 C. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 C. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 6 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 C. partially crushed chow mein noodles
1/2 C. chopped nuts
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in sifted dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate pieces, Chinese noodle pieces and nuts. Spread dough into greased 13 X 9 pan. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool. Sift powdered sugar on top and cut into bars.
