4 C. flour
1 pound marg. or butter
2 egg yolks
6 T. cold water
Preserves of choice: apricot, raspberry, prune
Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Cut flour and butter together. Beat the 6 T. cold water and 2 egg yolks and add to flour-butter mixture. Mix well and divide into 3 sections. Wrap in plastic and let cool at least 3 hours or over night. Roll out to 1/4 in., then cut into squares with a pastry wheel. Fill each square with a bit of preserves. and pinch only 2 opposite sides of the square together. Bake at 375º for 15 - 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar when semi-cooled.
