2 c. butter flavored Crisco
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
5 c. flour
4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Cream sugars and Crisco. Add rest of ingredients. Beat till thoroughly until combined.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 -12 minutes.
