Ingredients:
Ingredients:
To make one canner:
7 qt. jars, check rims for chips or imperfections
canning salt
freshly picked green beans (we prefer Blue Lake beans)
water
7 lids and rings to fit jars

Directions:
Directions:

Fill each jar up to bottom of neck with snapped beans. Put 1 tsp. canning salt in each jar. Prepare canner according to manufacturer's instructions. Put lids in pan and cover with boiling water. Fill jar to bottom of neck with boiling water, top with lid that has no water left on rubber rim, and tighten ring around lid. Place in canner. Process at 10 lb. pressure for 15 minutes. Let pressure release naturally and remove cans. Listen for the lids to pop, indicating that they have sealed. Let cool completely, remove rings and store in cool, dark area.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe comes from mom, Ella Chaney. Steve (my husband and partner not only in crime, but also in canning) and I can the beans in our 15.5 quart All American pressure canner. We love this canner! It makes canning much easier.
